Accessibility Suggestions

The Accessibility Suggestions dashboard helps you spot opportunities for making your content more accessible.

The Accessibility Suggestions dashboard is available as an Early Release feature. This means the Bloomberg Connects team plans to make further improvement based on your feedback. Share what you love, or what could be more useful, in the #feature-requests Slack channel.

Click into any row in the dashboard to edit the content and add the suggested information (e.g., alt text or caption).

Keep in mind that this dashboard:

  • Only considers content in your guide’s default language.
  • Only checks for the presence of: image alt text, video captions/subtitles, audio transcripts, and video transcripts. For more, see Image Alt Text, Audio and Video Transcripts, and Video Captions and Subtitles.
  • Does not consider context around each suggestion. For example, you may see Upload Subtitles/Captions for a video file that does not contain any speech. Use your best judgment.
  • Does not evaluate the quality of any provided content.
