Going forward, new Exhibitions support the following section headers: Highlights, Items in the Exhibition, Works on View, Audio, and Explore. If you find that you need the legacy Stops section header, consider creating a Tour instead.
If you've been exploring Tours since the launch in February, you know that all Items used as Tour Stops need to have a location. Updated validation in the CMS makes it easier to spot and resolve Item that are missing locations.
Botanical Items support two new fields: Bark and Fruit.
In August 2023, we introduced QR codes for on-site artwork/object lookup, which you can download directly from the CMS grids. QR codes for any other purpose (e.g., printed collateral, general signage, or digital/social materials) are still created by the Bloomberg Connects marketing team, but you can now initiate a request for these codes right from the CMS. Just click the 3-dots menu on the right side of any Item, Tour, or Exhibition row, then select Get QR Codes to download your codes or contact the marketing team.
Your guide export file now includes clear labels and links to where your content lives in the CMS, so it's easier to incorporate changes suggested by your editing team.
Small visual updates (e.g., new images in contextual help windows, more accurate splash screen preview) and consistency improvements (e.g., a new tooltip on the "media processing" indicator).
