Build your team
Creating a guide is a team effort. The best results come from organizations that draw on the knowledge, perspectives, and voices across their teams and broader community. The following topic provides suggestions for people to include on your team.

Every great team needs a project lead to guide the process from start to finish.

- Learn the CMS and understand how to build a guide
- In some organizations this portion of the project is taken on by a different team member, but the lead should understand the basics
- Gather the assets needed for the guide (e.g., photos, audio files, text)
- Manage the overall project timeline
- Coordinates with all internal teams
- Liaise with the Bloomberg Connects team
Traits of a strong project lead
- Understands your organization’s top level mission and goals OR has access to someone who does
- Is aware of the vision and goals for the guide
- Knows people across the organization who can provide information, assets, stories, etc.
