Tell your stories with audio tours
Now you can create self-guided audio tours that help visitors explore your space independently, with your expert commentary right in the palms of their hands.
In the CMS, creating a Tour will feel familiar–it’s a lot like creating an Item or Exhibition. You can even convert an existing Exhibition to a Tour if your content is ready to go.
In the app, Tour content appears in a map view so it’s easy for visitors to navigate through your space and listen to your story unfold one stop at a time.
What's New in the CMS
- Now, when you receive an email to join the platform or reset your password, the link in that email is valid until you complete the action or until the specified period (e.g., 10 minutes) elapses, whichever comes first.
- Small visual updates.
- Extending last month's update to the Address field, your address now controls the location at which your organization is pinned on the Explore screen map. Now, your default location controls your pin's placement on the map.
Bug Fixes in the CMS
- Addressed reports that, on the Map, the location pin label was partially covering the pin itself.
What's New in the App
- When you add a Tour to your guide's Home screen, the duration and number of stops now appear in the card.
Bug Fixes in the App
- Added precision to the location of map pins, so the location you see in the app now exactly matches the location set in the CMS (app version 3.41.0).
- Addressed reports of slowness when starting a guide (app version 3.41.0).
- Addressed a bug with how single map pins looked when accessed via the Show on Map button (app version 3.41.0).
- Addressed a bug in the language selection drop-down menu on the Start Guide screen (app version 3.39.2).
- Addressed reports that Tours were not starting when accessed via a lookup number (app version 3.39.1).
