Bloomberg Connects Browser Experience
While the Connects app remains the primary tool for connecting with visitors, the mobile browser experience expands your potential audience to include people who might be reluctant to download a new app before they see a good reason to do so.
Accessing guides in a mobile browser is very straightforward: when someone taps on a shared link or scans a QR code, the content opens directly in their device’s internet browser, so they immediately engage with the images, videos, or other pieces of information in your guide. If they already downloaded Bloomberg Connects, links will still open inside the app.
Since some features (like Tours and maps) are better experienced in the app, the browser experience includes a prompt that encourages visitors to download the app when they’re ready.
The table below summarizes key differences between the app and browser versions.
