“Crit Room” webinars
Modeled after traditional art classroom critique sessions, the Crit Room webinars provide a space for staff from global cultural organizations to present their work and get feedback. Plus, these presentations help the rest of us learn tips, tricks, and inspiration.
Here's how it works:
- Participants share in-progress or recently launched content developed for Bloomberg Connects.
- A panel of experts from the Bloomberg Connects team offer in-depth feedback.
- Other attendees are invited to share their insights and advice.
Invitations to register for these webinars are sent to all partners ahead of time. Check your email!

Communities of practice
Bloomberg Connects facilitates virtual and in-person spaces where partners of specific disciplines or practices can learn from each other, build professional relationships across institutions, and discuss shared challenges and opportunities.
We currently have active communities for three major disciplines:
- Academic museums and galleries
- Gardens and institutions with living collections
- Audio storytelling professionals
Here’s what you can expect from these communities:
- Quarterly virtual meetings, moderated by our community chairs
- Opportunities to collaborate on conference proposals
- In-person gatherings around relevant conferences
- Guest speakers and other additional resourcing

Connect with us on Slack
If you’re hoping for an asynchronous way to engage, you can join our Slack community, where members are invited to share projects they are excited about, opportunities for collaboration, and questions they have about Connects and beyond.
Join us in person
We're always looking for opportunities to connect with partners in person.
We host regional convenings in areas where our partners are actively engaging in the Connects community. Our hope is to support the work that our partners are already doing by creating physical spaces where they can exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and share best practices.
We also work closely with our partners to highlight their incredible work at conferences around the world. We collaborate with partners across all disciplines and sizes to bring their work to the rest of the sector. If you would like to discuss opportunities to present at a conference with our team, please reach out to your partner manager.
