Balance scalability & accuracy in your multilingual guide

With automated machine translations from Google Translate, your guide is available in 30+ languages right out of the box.

You can now replace these automated translations with human translations on a per-object basis, so you can focus your human translation efforts strategically. All translations are seamlessly integrated, so your visitors have a smooth and uninterrupted experience in their preferred language. For more, see Multilingual Content.

Note: Media files–like audio clips–cannot be translated automatically, so you may want to focus your translation and localization efforts on those files in particular.

What's New in the CMS

  • Now when you're ready to expose your latest updates to your visitors, just choose Publish Draft. Publish Draft replaces Make Draft Live, but the result is exactly the same; the draft version replaces your live version and is immediately visible in the app. We've just changed the label to make it more intuitive.   • A renamed and reorganized Explore & Settings page helps build a tighter connection between the CMS and the app.
  • As part of an ongoing effort to simplify guide creation, we retired three rarely-used options from the Splash screen editor (logo background color, filled color background, and the "show guidelines" option in the editor). Now, all you need to do is provide an image for the background and (optionally) upload your logo. If your guide already uses a logo background color, your settings will be retained until further notice.

  • Addressed reports of unexpected behavior with lookup numbers in Exhibitions.

Bug Fixes in the App

  • Addressed reports of unresponsive pins on the Map tab (app version 3.35.3).
  • Addressed reports of app slowness when logged in to internal mode on an Android device (app version 3.35.0).
  • Addressed reports of unexpected behavior on the Explore maps screen as well as small visual and accessibility related fixes (app version, 3.36.0).
