Simplified Navigation for Updating Your Guide

Now, similar content is grouped together so it’s easier than ever to update your organization’s details. And with recent changes to the app (like last month’s Explore screen redesign), refreshed logo names and guidelines help you make sure your guide looks its best.

What’s changed?

  • Two new pages, About and Brand Assets, replace the Info (Start Guide), Splash, and Explore & Settings pages.
  • On the About page:
    • Add/edit all organization details. Previously, these fields were spread across the Info (Start Guide) and Explore & Settings pages.
  • On the Brand Assets page:
    • The Home Logo is now called the Rectangular Logo.
    • The Explore Logo is now called the Square Logo.
    • Add or edit your Splash screen logo and background image alongside your other assets.

What's New in the CMS

  • The Bloomberg Connects Privacy Policy has been updated. Review the new policy next time you log in to the CMS.
  • Visual improvements for some tooltips and loading indicators.

What's New in the App

  • Small visual updates throughout (app version 3.52).
  • Visitors can control the speed of the audio playback to match their listening preference (.5x-2x the original speed (app version 3.52).
  • When an app user chooses not to allow location access and dismisses the prompt, they won't be prompted again (app version 3.51.1).

Bug Fixes in the App

  • Addressed reports of an unintuitive focus order on the Explore screen; now, people using a screen reader or external controller can more easily browse the available organizations (app version 3.52).
  • Addressed reports that sharing content on Android devices was not working (app version 3.52).
  • Addressed reports of interrupted or inconsistent audio playback (app version 3.52).
  • Addressed reports that Tours spanning multiple buildings weren't behaving as expected. Now, you can swipe through all the stops on a Tour and move seamlessly between buildings (app version 3.51.1).
  • Addressed reports that video captions and subtitles were not appearing the app. Now, the option to enable captions and subtitles appears for all videos with a VTT file attached (app version 3.51.1).
  • Addressed reports of audio clips restarting suddenly (app version 3.51.1).
