Update home screen sections

You can add and update home screen sections to keep your guide's landing page fresh and exciting.

Add a new section

You can add a new section to your home screen. Sections only appear in your guide when they have content inside them.

Steps

1. On the Home screen, click Add New Section.

   

2. In the Add Section Title window that appears, add a title for the section (e.g., Welcome!), then click Save.

   

3. On the Home screen, under the new section header, click Add Content, then select up to eight pieces of content and click Apply.

   Note: Content only appears in the list if it's marked as "Visible in the App." Hidden content cannot be added to the home screen. For more, see Hide outdated content.

   

4. If you want to change the order in which the sections appear in your guide, click Reorder Sections. Then, in the Reorder Sections window that appears, drag and drop the sections to your preferred placement and click Save.

   

The sections are saved. You can preview the layout in the Bloomberg Connects app using internal mode. For more, see Review draft content in the app.

Edit sections

You can rename, delete, and reconfigure sections so your featured content is always up to date.

• To rename a section, click the more actions menu (⫶) next to the title, then select Edit Section Title.

  

• To delete a section, click the more actions menu (⫶) next to the title, then select Delete Section.

  

• To remove content from a section, click the more actions menu (⫶) on the right side of the content card, then select Remove.

  

• To reorder content within a section, drag and drop the content.

  Note: You cannot drag content from one section to another. Instead, you must delete the content from one section and add it to another.

  

Your changes save immediately.
