Social sharing in the app

Visitors can now share your guide with their network, organically expanding the reach of your content. Visitors can share a link to your whole guide or to specific Exhibitions or Items.

If you haven’t yet, please remember to execute the amended and restated legal agreement here so we can enable this feature for your users!

Explore guides in a map view

On the Explore page, users can now switch to the Map view to see organizations nearby, then pinch and zoom to see organizations all over the world.

Tap any pin to see the organization’s name and distance from your current location, then tap the card to open the Start Guide screen.

What’s New in the CMS

  • You can now upload and attach audio and video files in the middle of creating an Item or Exhibition, so you don't have to break your flow to upload the new media. Just remember to edit the audio or video record to add captions or a transcript.
  • The first-time CMS login experience is now more streamlined. For more, see First-Time CMS Login.
  • When an exhibition in your physical space closes, you can close the Exhibition in your CMS to clean up your guide. For more, see Closing an Exhibition.
  • The Item/Exhibition visibility control is now available from the content grids, so you don’t have to drill into a form to mark content as visible or hidden.
  • When creating or editing an Item or Exhibition, you can either select images from your content library or upload new images from your computer. Previously, you could only upload one image at a time. Now, you can upload as many images as you want. Just remember to edit the images later on to apply the appropriate display cropping and add alt text.
  • Small updates to actions available on content created via bulk upload.

Bug Fixes in the CMS

  • A red outline is now consistently applied to any field with an error.
  • Small improvement to the screen loading indicator.

What's New in the App

  • On Android devices, guides now download 10-12x faster (app version 3.32.1).

Bug Fixes in the App

  • Addressed reports of guides accessed from the Explore screen not loading (app version 3.32.0).
  • Addressed reports of pins not centering on some organizations' exterior maps and inconsistencies with promotional QR codes (app version 3.31.1).
  • Addressed reports of map pin locations in the app not aligning with map pin locations set in the CMS. Now, the pins you see on your guide's Map tab should be in the exact locations you set in the CMS (app version 3.30.3).
