Pre-Visit Promotion

Encouraging your visitors to download Bloomberg Connects before they visit allows them to use the app to help plan their trip and leads to a seamless on-site experience. Below are some ideas on where and how to promote your guide to visitors before they arrive on-site.

Website

Creating a Dedicated Bloomberg Connects Landing Page

We recommend creating a page on your website dedicated to your Bloomberg Connects guide. Our data tells us that dedicated web pages have the highest conversion rates of any marketing tactic, as people who visit your site are actively planning their in-person visit.

Tips:

  • Name the page "Free Digital Guide" or "Digital Guide to [Your Institution]" (instead of "Bloomberg Connects")
  • Describe what Bloomberg Connects is and how to access/download it
  • Add information about content in your guide
  • Preview your content, when possible, by including images that show the app in use or feature screenshots of your guide
  • In addition to a tracking link, include a QR code to provide desktop users with a seamless way to download the app
  • Link to your page from emails, e-tickets, social media posts, and other pages on your website

We will link to your dedicated page from bloombergconnects.org to improve SEO and generate additional traffic to your site.

We don't recommend including direct links to the App Store and Google Play Store since we can't track the performance of those links. The tracking links we provide will take users to the right store for their device.
